Our Approach
Dignity Over Dollars is an alliance of organizers from the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, Faith in Action’s Live Free National Campaign, and Faith in Texas. This coalition uplifts the voices of formerly incarcerated people and those whose families and friends have been detained. We are from South Dallas, North Dallas, and every surrounding area. We are people of different races, faiths, economic backgrounds, and professions.
